All Major Appliance Repair was dispatched to my home through a home warranty company. My 40 year old Maytag gas dryer stopped tumbling, yes, that's right, 40 years old. I love my old dryer as it is great and still looks brand new, not a dent or scratch in sight. After reading some reviews about this company, I made sure to call and give the model and serial number of my dryer. This is very important if you have a home warranty because sometimes the warranty company does not have the information to give to your vendor. Soon after, Pat from All Major Appliance Repair called to set up a time for Eric the technician to come out. Within a few days, Eric came out, diagnosed the issue and ordered the part. Eric was very kind and thorough. He was extremely knowledgeable about my beloved dryer. Eric went above and beyond a typical service call. My dryer is working great again. Do You Repair Samsung Appliances?

Unfortunately, we do not service Samsung.

My gas stove isn’t lighting—does that mean the gas valve is bad?

Not necessarily. In most cases, if your gas stove isn’t lighting, the issue is not the gas valve. It’s usually a faulty ignitor that needs to be replaced. The ignitor is responsible for creating the spark that lights the gas. When it wears out or fails, the burner won’t ignite even if gas is flowing properly.
